Right now it's all about Levi Strauss & Co.'s 517s (with a slight flair to fit over your shiny violet patent leather cowboy boots). Plan on seeing a lot of straw cowboy hats floating through parties, as well as turquoise on the fingers, wrists and necks of the most fabulous. The reappearance of turquoise coincides with the new wave of sea colors -- beautiful aquamarine shades of blue and green -- that you'll see on everything imaginable.
Blue is all over the wine scene, too! From Blue Franc (lemberger) to blue bottles, consumers are being lured to supermarket shelves by both cobalt and curiosity. The quality of these new shades? Well, it's refreshing to say that image is everything. Look for more blue to appear in the near future. |
